Owl City’s new single “Alligator Sky” debuted at #1 on the iTunes electronic track chart yesterday! “Alligator Sky” is the first song to be released from Owl City’s new album All Things Bright and Beautiful – which became available for preorders yesterday as well and immediately took the number one spot in the Electronic Albums Chart and is currently #19 in the Overall Charts on iTunes. Fans can purchase/preorder both at: itunes.com/owlcity.
And for those who are have already preordered the album, Rolling Stone is giving it their stamp of approval by including it in their Spring Preview. Check it out below, or in the current issue on newsstands now!
To coincide with all the new material, Owl City has also officially launched a new website: www.owlcitymusic.com. Along with the site, they’ve included some special treats for fans, including a “making of” video for the new album All Things Bright and Beautiful – a follow up to the platinum selling debut album Ocean Eyes. Owl City will head out on a world headlining tour following the May 17th release of All Things Bright and Beautiful – kicking things off in the US June 13th.
